Alex was an excellent masseuse! She dialed into the exact medium plus pressure that I asked for and found all the knots and kinks in my muscles and worked them out. She also used cups toRelease some of the muscle tension. Overall, super relaxing while also feeling like a nice therapeutic muscle work massage.

Alex has the hands of a healer! She has helped restore health to my elbow, knees, and back in a relatively short time. She is flexible with my schedule morning, noon, and night and is versatile, using the best techniques for the situation--when my muscles are exceptionally tight, she applies cupping first, which significantly loosens them up (we joke that I'm part octopus with all the suction cups up and down my arms and legs!). She listens and advises. Most importantly, she cares. I wish I could give her business 10 stars!!

I tried out a few different massage therapists before finding Alex at Journey Therapeutic Massage. I was specifically looking for a solo therapist to support small businesses. Alex gives great massages and I have been back several times- I usually go every two weeks. She makes sure you thoroughly enjoy your massage and even changed the music to something I like better so the entire experience is relaxing and healing. I've come in with low back and hip pain on the drive over and after the massage was pain free on my drive home. Highly recommend!
