Recently I found myself in need of ordering a couple flower arrangements for a funeral service being held for a family member. Having never been to this particular flower shop, I took a chance and walked in on a Friday morning. The ladies in the shop greeted me warmly and asked what they could help me with. When I explained what I had in mind and that I would need both arrangements for a funeral service to be held the following Monday. I was trying to send flowers to someone who lives in a spot that is out of the way for most local florists. After attempting to call a few florists in the surrounding area, I was either met with “we don’t deliver there” or no answer at all. I really wanted to “shop local” and “shop small” so while I could’ve resorted to one of the 1-800 # delivery services, I called Garriss Flower Shop. I explained the situation to the person who answered the phone and thankfully, they were able and willing to help.
