I should’ve trusted the reviews. I paid $50 for this haircut and even gave a tip, which I now regret. Honestly, this will probably be my first and last time going to this salon.
I got my haircut by an older woman with wavy hair—her station was the first chair you see when you walk in. I showed her a video and a clear picture of the style I wanted. She told me she could do it, but once she started cutting, she took off way too much. My hair was originally tailbone-length, and she cut it all the way up to armpit-length, with excessive layering that made it much shorter than expected.
The final cut looked nothing like what I asked for—it felt like she cut my hair the way she wanted, not how I requested. When I mentioned that the front wasn’t even, she just said, “I know, I know,” but kept cutting. In the end, no matter how I looked at it, it didn’t resemble the photo at all.
I’m very disappointed. I came in hoping to get a beautiful haircut like the one I showed her, but instead got a really bad one. If she couldn’t do the style, she should’ve just told me instead of cutting however she pleased. It’s really not okay.

This place is great because Henna knows what haircut I prefer since I told her that I wanted layered hair, and the color I get is exactly what I want. The place is clean, and the price is reasonable.

I went here couple of times but the last time it was a huge disappointment! I requested a certain hair color and it came out darker! I told the stylist, Suhyun and she told me it's bc of the lighting! Basically telling me to wash it and it will get lighter! Are you kidding me?! I paid for my services and yet that's the best excuse you can come up with? If you are a true hair stylist, you own up to your mistake and be professional! Or re-do it! Not only does she lack of basic customer service but it shows incompetence and yet she still wanted to make money! Huge disappointment and what a shame! Mind you, didn't bother going back to her bc she probably can't get the job done right. SMH

I asked for see-through bangs, but they ended up with full bangs. Like someone who has asymmetrical bangs and gets bangs for the first time, the parting is not even done and the cut itself is basically a mess. The technology that requires detailed cuts is lacking, and failure to achieve symmetry is especially serious. The bangs are spiky and the sides are severely asymmetrical. It was cut so rough that I kept crying while looking in the mirror. I don't even want to go to work. It will take two months to make my bangs symmetrical, and I think I would do better by cutting them at home. This is the worst mistake of my life. This is my first and last visit... Update* My bangs were too spiky, so I trimmed them with scissors at home. Every time I look in the mirror, I get annoyed when I see only my hair..^^

My 15-year-old likes this salon because the stylist, Hannah, does a a good job with her hair. It is usually a. 45-60 minute drive from our house. We WILL NOT be returning there. Yesterday while she was getting her hair done, I ran a few errands. On our way home my daughter told me one of the stylists spoke Korean to Hannah, saying that my daughter was pretty, but fat. She then went on to tell my daughter, who is a size 2, to stop eating hamburgers. WTF!? Just because my daughter is brown doesn't mean you can insult her like that! And don't make assumptions...her grandmother is Korean and my daughter understood every thing! Do you think it is funny to say that to a teen girl when eating disorders are rampant?!?! There are plenty of other places we can patronize. I don't give my hard-earned money to racists fatphobes.

I cut and permed my child's hair. He was kind and I liked his hair. Next time, I'm going to dye my child's hair.
