Central Acupuncture & Herb Clinic

My partner went to this location to purchase a specific Chinese medicine and she was treated very rudely. When she asked to buy medicine they had on their shelf they said sure. They then made her wait, then after waiting, they simply said she couldn't purchase it without telling her the reason while being rude and dismissive. I later called and asked if they sell medicine and they promptly told me they only sell if you get prescribed by their doctor. This information should have been given promptly to my partner rather than being dismissive and wasting her time. The difference between respect towards me as a man vs her as a woman is unacceptable.

I had a 3PM appointment today and was turned away. They said I didn't have an appointment. They asked if I was a new patient and I said yes, and that I came last week. They said you must be at the wrong place, there is another acupuncture place behind the building. They pretended they had never seen me before and proceeded to give me a business card, saying I need to call for an appointment. Funny because I actually had my appointment card on me that they gave me last week.

I have had six treatments from Meree, she is about as pain free as acupuncture gets and I have had stellar results for back and varicose veins. Recommend her to anyone! Feels more clinical than New Age in her offices.
