I have been living in my home in Hume Springs for 14 years. My yard has given me such a sense of pleasure and accomplishment. As background, I moved into my home in 2010--the yard foliage was sparse (if any) and anything that was in the yard was dead had to removed. So, I started to work on the yard with various projects each year. Somehow, I found West Landscapes and used them for weekly mowing. We then started doing twice yearly clean ups in Spring and Fall we began collaborating on plantings. Chris West advised me where I should put plants, where they would grow better, etc. Last year, at the fall cleanup, Mr. West suggested we move some of my salvia and replace some plants that I put in 2010. The salvia has never looked better than it does today. Most recently, I was throwing a party and wanted my yard to look pristine. He came to my rescue the week before the party. We did the regular Spring clean-up and West recommended power washing my patio, putting sand in between the flagstone and suggested we remove some plants and replace them. We put in some heirloom roses (blue moon) which we put in the front flower bed and added some more knock out roses along my walkway. All-in-all this process has evolved to a wonderful collaboration between Chris West and me. He knows his stuff, has a wonderful staff that works with him and if anyone is looking for a great landscape company, I would recommend West Landscapes whole heartedly.
