Love coming here to get my hair cut/styled/dyed/etc. Great location. Always easy to find street parking within a block. Staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Place is clean and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. Shout out to Angela. Been going to her for years. Knows her stuff. Listens to what I want done. Steers me away from epic mistakes. Never a bad visit. Highly recommend Angela!!!
Salon deZEN is a fantastic business. They are welcoming and non-judgmental and inclusive. Their pricing is gender neutral, they are LGBTQ+ and BIPOC supportive. Their stylists are friendly and talented. And their space is artfully decorated, full of light and color and plants with an energetic and positive vibe. Even their products are top-notch. I recommend Salon deZEN to all my friends. Lee is my favorite stylist I have ever had! She does a phenomenal job with my hair, helped me develop a new style and find products that truly work with my hair type, plus, she is a fabulous human being and I legitimately enjoy visiting with her. She is real, and funny, and intelligent, and empathetic. She supports small businesses and is an active member of the community. She listens when you speak and remembers you and gives excellent scalp massages and has a wonderful laugh. She is a beautiful person inside and out and helps me feel beautiful too.
Wow! This place is a gem! Last weekend Martha Hazard did my hair and she did a fabulous job! I’ll definitely be going back to her in the future. She did a partial high/low light and also gave me a wonderful haircut. The salon is super cute and clean. Street parking. Easy scheduling via the website. If you’re not already a client, give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed
