I went to Dr. Fontaine for treatment of my trigger thumbs. I did not want to have surgery on both hands, so I opted for ART-Active Release Technique and Graston Technique. My thumbs were sticking and popping out of joint, and I can honestly say Dr. Fontaine has been able to break up some of the scar tissue, using both ART and Graston, so that my thumbs no longer pop out of joint, and they get stuck much less. Dr. Fontaine explained the therapy process very clearly and the inner working of my hand. He's very thorough and is about your overall body alignment. You will not be sorry if you seek Dr. Fontaine for treatment.
Dr Fontaine is the consumate professional. He has helped me through two life altering issues with conservative treatment. In both cases I thought I knew what my problem was. Not only did he redirect me but provided the treatment that ended my pain.
Fell and hurt myself; went to a chiropractor and an orthopedic practice and neither practitioner could diagnose the problem...they guessed at arthritis because of my age...over 50. When in Fla, I visited Dr. Matt's office. At that time, I was having trouble getting in and out of my car as well as needing to use handicap bathrooms to get up and down with assistance. Dr. Matt touched my leg and quickly felt scar tissue and started breaking it up. Up until then the pain was chronic yet I could not identify or describe the source of the pain. After a few visits and showing me how to use the foam roller I am still pain free.
