“Sidney was amazing to work with helpful and just an overall enjoyable person to be around. Dr. Mckell on the other hand was not as friendly or welcoming. After declining to have my eyes dilated he repeatedly brought it up as if to gas light or guilt trip me. I could not get out of that exam fast enough. I will not be returning of he's the dr im required to see. Everyone else in the store was amazing, friendly and helpful.“

“Even if you normally skip over reviews online, you should take the time to read this one! (Seriously). I've had some pretty severe eye problems since I was a kid and have been to a dozen different ophthalmologists in the Salt Lake Valley over the years, and I can say with confidence that Dr. Smith is the best one. He was able to easily diagnose the issues, and every treatment he's prescribed has been super effective. He's even looked for more cost-effective options when a medication he's thinking of prescribing is insanely overpriced (unlike some ophthalmologists I've been to--I won't name names--who charged me over $100 just to dilate my eyes, ignore my issue, and send me out the door). He has also always been willing to see me on short notice on those days when my eye issues are particularly awful, and he's always friendly and thorough, even though the last minute appointments are likely a bit of an inconvenience. He always educates me on every issue he finds, and he does it without any of the condescension you sometimes find in doctors. Recently, he has even started getting to the root of other health issues I might be having--underlying problems that might be contributing to the whole eye fiasco--and has encouraged me to check with my PCP for things I never would have thought of. Seriously, this guy is a godsend. If you're looking for an ophthalmologist, stop looking! I can say with full confidence that he's the best. If I could give more than five stars, I would!“
