Came in for a haircut and a beard trim and Mason did a real good job definitely feeling good right now Mason was very attentive to my needs I'm a very picky person and he was very patient and observent to details also gave me a rinse and shampoo and product in my hair definitely feeling like a hundred 100 definitely coming again thank you American academy definitely got my money worth ?
This place is great as long as you know what you are agreeing too. I've been here three times now for three different things (eyebrow wax, pedicure, haircut). The people are REALLY nice and the place is clean and looks very professional. Results may vary depending on what you do and who you get. My wax and haircut were great, my pedicure was pretty good in terms of feet pampering but the worst polish application I've ever seen, including what I do myself (which is bad). I just had to laugh. I normally love American Beauty Academy, but my experience today left a horrible impression. I scheduled online, got a confirmation email, and when i showed up, the doors were locked! I understand that things come up, or you may not have enough appointments to justify keeping the place open, but a phone call would have been nice.Edit: I was put out on Saturday when the above happened. They reached out today to apologize for the glitch in the computer system. It means a lot to have my frustration validated. I really think the students do a fantastic job... That's why I've rescheduled for tomorrow!
