My original glasses took seven weeks to come in. Less than four months later, the frames broke. When I called them, it went to voicemail. I left a message. No response. I called a couple of days later voicemail. No response. I went in, and they said they were having phone issues. I should call or email. Four days later, I called voicemail. No response. So emailed. Still waiting for a response. They told me my glasses would get here in 4-6 weeks. Well, we are eight weeks. Their website said they were open till 5. I just stopped by, and they are closed. **UPDATE** I decided to order a pair of frames from Walmart in Syracuse. They were not surprised I was having issues with Standard Optical as they are hearing from A LOT of people experiencing the same thing. I ordered with Walmart on 4/29/24 and notified today (5/7/24) that my glasses are ready for pickup. I also got frames and lenses for the same price as I did at Standard Optical without using my insurance. They were charging double the price that Walmart does and Walmart has a much better selection of frames to choose from.I like the doctor we saw at the West Point location. These guys are floating on YOUR MONEY.It would appear that we are another victim of this store. My wife ordered her glasses over 6 weeks ago. The district manager gave us a song and dance about how all optical centers are behind when we made the order. Now we can’t reach anyone via phone, no answering service, just a phone that keeps ringing.After reading the many negative reviews with the same problem, it seems that this is the way West Point Standard Optical does business.What a below standard experience.
