We have a very large dog (140lbs so far). Some places seem very hesitant to see him. The doctor and staff here have been happy to care for him and have been very good, friendly and calm when working with him. They have offered helpful advice and helped us out with a few issues for him. Would love to see some expanded hours as we have had one emergency where we had to go elsewhere, but we will continue to take him here for his care when we can.

We love this location and all the vets and staff there. We have a previously abused dog who is rather anxious. They are nothing but patient, kind and accommodating to her needs. We do have her on an OWP, which we find worth the cost because it pays for itself after the visits related to meds and dental.

Do NOT take your fur-baby to Banfield Pet Hospital, especially this location. We took our 1 year old cat in a week ago because we were worried she had a broken tooth - she was lethargic, not eating well and losing weight. They spent half an hour BEFORE they even looked at her, trying to sell us their insurance plan, saying that she needs her teeth cleaned and the insurance plan will cover 600 of that, but no other dental. What?? They hadn't even looked at her and she's only 1 year old! They eventually took her in the back and said they looked at her mouth to see if there were any broken teeth and reported that there weren't any and that she was fine.
Fast forward two days and our little girl had a crisis so bad that we had to rush her to the emergency vet - they didn't think she was going to make it; she was non responsive. She stayed for three days and two nights in an oxygen cage with SO many expensive tests. Thankfully the emergency vet was amazing and kinds. Now we've brought her home, but she's lost her sight and she's developed neurological disorders because of seizures she had that Banfield should have been able to see coming, if they'd done anything at all. The emergency vet also found bruises all over her soft pallet - how did Banfield not see that IF they looked at her teeth? Our precious little one is still recovering - we have to carry her to the litter, giver her intravenous fluids and she probably won't see well ever again. Banfield committed malpractice because all they cared about was money. Sickening.

Got a new puppy in October of this year, she is a Chihuahua mix. I called Banfield for prices on treatment and they had a great plan and price. So I decided to go with them. I always feel welcomed by staff when I get there, also treat my little Oaklynn real well.

The app lets you make in room visits or drop off visits. I booked my dog for an in room visit, not wanting him in a cage all day. Apperently the App lets you book even though it isn't an option for those times. Staff was nice about it, however it is definetly that Corporate needs to fix. Great Service at the location. Bad IT app service.

The last time I was here, the tech tried to take blood for my dog who was sitting still & being so good for them. She couldn’t find her vein poked her multiple times before she cried & we rescheduled. I felt like she was in a rush & didn’t care. I was very hesitant to bring her back because of the negative experience but I did today since she’s on their wellness plan. I was so much more pleased with our visit today. Jen was so kind & patient with my dog. She made sure she found her vein before poking her with the needle & only had to do it once. Jen was also so much more personable & I felt comfortable with her caring for my dog. Jen deserves 5 stars, but the company overall is 3. Thanks Jen!

I’ve tried contacting the West Jordan location multiple times a day on several different occasions, but the phone is never answered. My small Maltese/Shih Tzu has been seen at this location in the past when it was part of PetSmart, so I thought it would be nice to bring her back in for her annual follow-up. This location would be the most convenient for us since we live nearby, making drop-off and pick-up easy. However, it’s been very frustrating not being able to reach anyone by phone to schedule her appointment. Unfortunately, due to the lack of communication, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

The turnover is ridiculous. Every time I go its new team members. Zero continuity of care so its start from scratch every time. Overall care is good but I do agree with others that attitude is an issue. This is generally a lack of good leadership issue. I also think they are overworked. Front staff were AMAZING.

My dog has had a chronic ear infection for 6/7 years of his life. Every vet we have seen before never properly diagnosed the problem or gave us effective medication. Its been 3 days since we went in and he is already improving significantly. The prices aren't unreasonable, previous visits to other vets left us with no more information than we had before and a 600+ dollar bill. $425 for the appointment and medications and it was absolutely worth it to see him happy again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Please read entire review! I have been a loyal Banfield customer for over 14 years, entrusting them with the care of my dog throughout his entire life. Sadly, he recently passed away. While grieving this loss, I was shocked and disappointed to learn that Banfield still expects me to pay for his wellness plan or pay $580 to cancel his wellness plan even though he has passed and will no longer be using any services.
After a decade of loyalty, I expected empathy and basic compassion, not a cold policy that treats pet owners as just another payment. To pay for unused care is not just insensitive it’s inhumane. They are pathetic. I would highly recommend looking for other plans. They also take forever to process anything
