“Walked in for an overdue Sunday afternoon haircut. Barely waited before Alison whisked me back to her chair. Best haircut I’ve had in a while. She sized me up right away, but followed my lead, checking for my approval as she executed her craft, asking me how I approached styling, etc. Wish my SportClips stylists back in Texas could be a little more like Alison! Impressive talent for such a young age and it really shows — he knew exactly what would work for my face shape and hair type without me needing to over-explain. Super personable and friendly the whole time. We ended up chatting about New York (he’s going for the first time soon and I was raised there), plus bonding over the same shows and music, which made the experience even better. The shop reminded me of where I grew up and brought back a lot of nostalgia. I walked out with a haircut I’m genuinely happy with and will definitely be coming back.“

“I had an awesome experience at Koa’s Barbershop from the moment I walked in it felt like high-end service but at a much better price than other premium spots I've been too around Salt Lake City (like City Barbers).
I got my cut from Koa himself, and it was hands-down one of the best haircuts I’ve had. He brings so much passion and personality to the chair, and you can tell he truly cares about what he does. There’s a great personal touch to the whole experience from Koa’s unique story to how attentive he is to what you want, made it very easy to get a good cut for me here.
The quality definitely feels above and beyond clean, sharp, and thoughtful service from start to finish. The atmosphere is chill and friendly, but still very professional not the cookie cutter barbershop that's too common these days. Really felt like I got great value for what I paid.

Geneva usually cuts my hair, but Benecio also gives a really good cut too. And even when I moved across the valley for a short time, I would drive 40 minutes to come back to Elevate. Kimmy has a bright personality and with a bright smile everyday when I was in her class for braiding. “I've never written a review for a barbershop and can't believe I'm writing now. However, I find myself a consistent customer here. I don't live in UT but bought a condo during the pandemic to have a place to stay when we come visit family. This place was recommended to me, and I've now come over a dozen times. Though I don't get the same barber on each visit, I am amazed I've always had an excellent experience and a great haircut. I've gotten the full service shampoo and hair dry and style as well as just a haircut. Each has been excellent. I don't frequently come to UT, but when I do I never pass up the opportunity to get my hair cut here. The value and quality and timeliness are too good to pass up.“
