I used this office for my taxes for several years and stopped because they could never keep my information from my sons; same first and last name, different middle name, social, and address. Different business, ages, marital status and dependants etc...I got tired of having to constantly correct them.Then last week an IRS notice intended for my son ended up at a rental property I own. My son lived there 4 years ago and has been having Jake do his taxes this whole time.How does a CPA, a profession that you hire in large part for their attention to detail, file taxes with a mortgage deduction at one address and use a different address on the tax forms? For more than 3 years?When penalties and fees are piling up it would be helpful for the IRS to have your correct address.The details are important but these guys struggle with them.

They forgot to file my wife’s taxes so she got almost 100 less, and then the irs is charging her another 78 for the mistake THEY MADE don’t go here for your taxes. I had gotten mine filed and got charged for the same thing, they wouldn’t make it right for us and tried to blame us for the mistake, what a joke!

Gave them all my w2s at once, they forgot to file one at the same time and now I’m getting almost 100 dollars less just because they did not do their job correctly? Sorry but definitely not coming back.

I had hired Jake’s company a year and a half ago, and they were very responsive. They did previous years for me and I had no problem. Well now it’s saying I never filed in 2019, and my husband in 2017. I emailed them the papers that the irs sent me, and didn’t hear anything. Then I emailed Diane, and she said that she would have Jake get back to me. It’s been months and I haven’t heard anything. Don’t hire them if you want your taxes actually filed. If you have problems with the IRS they won’t respond.
