We recently worked with Serenity for my mom's funeral. Russ, one of the directors, was so very helpful and patient with all of our questions. He was available to help anytime we needed assistance. Kristin did a lovely job on the program, and was very helpful. Hailey always greeted us with a smile and empathy when we walked through the door.
The whole experience could have been so much more difficult. They all helped make that week go smoothly for our family.

At the very worst time of life , while reeling from the huge loss of my spouse the staff at Serenity stepped in with their compassion and knowledge of what to do and how to help someone as sad and confused as I was. Their professionalism and humanity towards me was very needed and welcomed. They treated my husband with so much respect and tenderness and dignity. They treated me the same way. I put my trust in them and they guided me through the whole process with ease. They knew how to help in every aspect of my particular situation. Our family is so happy that my husband and I planned ahead and made arrangements for his passing with a pre-arranged funeral plan. It was a comfort to me to have done this because, when he did pass, it took the decision making pressure away from that emotional time. Russ Atkin and his staff were so very helpful at the time of my husband's passing. They were efficient and compassionate as we went through the process from the beginning, up to the funeral and the days after answering questions and helping with any needs I have had. I’ve known Larry Hansen for nearly 40 years. Don’t think I’ve ever met a guy who is custom built to handle the complexity of a loved one’s passing as well as Larry. He is genuinely compassionate, kind and is just an incredible human being. Serenity Funeral home is going to be taking care of me when it’s my turn to exit this wonderful world we live.
