The environment of this salon is very cute. They have snacks and the scene is very comfy and comforting. However my review is not based on the salon but a stylist who works in it, Benny. To start off, i would like to say that you should go there! Really, but make sure you don’t get scheduled with her. I had an appointment and while being there and scheduling she was very nice! She was inviting and made me feel comfortable as i was nervous to dye my hair. I noticed that the sides of my hair were cut off by lightener (photos below) and texted her the minute i noticed asking if we can fix it. Right off the bat, she was arguing with me and down talking to me as if i had no idea what i was talking about. I spent about $450 on this hair, and was just asking her to help me fix the sides. She argued with me and made me feel terrible. She was trying to make me repay for a service to fix it, even though initially i would not have had to pay an extra $450 or so if it would’ve been done differently. She argued with me and was very demeaning for about a day, i finally got her to fix it for a reasonable price, and she was very harsh still. Really disappointed in how she reacted the whole time, i was never trying to be rude i just wanted help. Again, please do not go to her. I’ve been to a couple stylists who have had to fix my hair before and none of them have acted the way she did. To add in, i am at hair school. I showed my instructors the sides of my hair (photo below again) and they said if anyones hair looked like that they would not make them pay, they are the ones who pushed me into reaching out to her because they also thought it was unacceptable. To add, she said the only way for her to fix what she did is if i would of came the next day. I explained i have had a trip planned and cannot cancel and she pushed me to the side. Very disappointing stylist. This is now at to run a business or to show yourself as one. The whole scenario is very disappointing, don’t go to Benny.
