I told myself I would never be a member of a Vasa gym and I should have stuck to that. Unfortunately I was desperate for a gym so I signed up. It is soooo miserably overcrowded even working out at 4:30am I am waiting for equipment. The best time to go is mid morning to afternoon, oh wait, you can't because kids care is always booked out. And forget going anytime after 4pm. It's even worse! So I decided it wasn't worth the membership, I was dreading working out instead of looking forward to it. And true to Vasa form they are sneaky and charge you every possible fee they can think of. $105 to cancel a freaking $25 membership. Most places are willing to waive a thing or two because of situations like mine (overcrowding making it impossible to use membership) but not Vasa, they have a heart of ice. Man I am kicking myself soooo hard for not sticking to my rule of never being a Vasa member ??‍♀️

Terrible customer service and we left a couple things (a $100 swimsuit, a soap dish) and they’re nowhere to be found. I know Vasa isn’t responsible for lost items…. BUT, they could do hourly locker room checks for lost items and so people get their things back. We don’t have a lot of money like other Utah residents and it’s frustrating if these items are being thrown away. The employees act like they just don’t care. Attitude is everything. They could show kindness and empathy. Also, because they’re standing around so much as employees that tells me they DO have time to find lost items.

Pretty busy. Recently they put locks on the doors to the specialty rooms. I used to use the cycle room as part of my daily workout, and now have been locked out. I was paid the premium to have that availability to me. I have since lowered my membership fee since management feels it’s necessary to limit services for paying customers. One thing they could do if they really are concerned about abuses is to monitor people who are constantly on their phones and just sitting at machines, or worse standing talking to a friend while the machine sits idle. Another thing the could do is ask the members who are hoarding the dumbbells to return them to the racks andOnly use one set at a time. I believe the management areFocusing on the wrong things to make the gym better, locking roomsDoes not make the gym better.

Fees. Fees. Fees. Scummy fine print policies. Always crowded. Go elsewhere

Marco and Chelsea G's yoga classes are 5 ?????! Other than that, not too impressed with Vasa. I got my premium membership on a really good deal a few years ago so I won't be canceling to keep the rate (not to mention that canceling with Vasa is a nightmare!) Other than the late class fee policy, the new locks on doors and check in process for premium members sucks. ?

I love this Vasa location! It has a pool, hot tub, recovery station, sauna and steam room. The only thing it doesn't have I would use are basketball courts.

Spectacular!!! The guys at the reception were very attentive, the equipment was super clean and the areas were very comfortable.

Don't give them your payment info. Go elsewhere. $100+ in hidden fees the first few months. One to retain your rate, one for a mandatory month of the gym upon cancelling, and a cancellation fee. They don't maintain equipment, run a scheme to take advantage of people left and right and have the worst business infrastructure in facility and online possible.

I really wish I could rate this gym higher. I love the equipment and the staff are super nice and responsive, especially the childcare workers. HOWEVER, the childcare is near impossible to book (I habitually book 2 wks in advance right at 8am and still don’t get signed up), there are often wait times for any machine (cardio or strength training), and there are absolutely no down times where the gym isn’t crowded. The downsides are too big to over look and I really wish VASA would listen to the complaints because I know most gym goers feel the same way.
