I just happened to find Lex, the proprietor of The Cat House SLC waxing studio, a few weeks back on Instagram (turns out her studio was only 2.5 miles away in the LIV Salons Bldg.,) and decided to pull the trigger on full manzilian and manjacial...my first ever. I took advantage of her special Halloween deal pricing and booked the appointment by 31 October. But the unique upside with Lex was that she didn't charge more for men than women! I have been in a couple times now for my back and an enzyme peel. I have been to a few other places so I knew what to expect. What I didn't expect was the atmosphere at the Cat House is so inviting and relaxing. Not just the atomsphere, Lexie is great, dedicated to her craft and knows what she's doing. I left my last appointment thinking how much I enjoyed the conversation and how comfortable I was with her, I was kind of sad when she was done waxing. Talk about pain-free. At one point when I was getting my legs waxed I thought nothing was coming off because I didn’t feel a thing but here I am one day later smooth as a baby’s bottom. ? Her products are all so gentle. After the session you would never know that I was just waxed. No irritation or inflammation. And her place is nicely decorated. And the music is good.
