What is the purpose of the VA, as a whole, in the state of Utah? How does a communist state like California take BETTER CARE of their Vets, even those visiting from out of state, than their own home state? How despicable of you, Utah. I've had to go more than $6,000 out of pocket to repair tash dental work from when I was AD. I'm visiting California from Utah, and the VA here wants me to stay in-state longer so that they can repair 100% of my Service Connected dental repairs that are causing me severe pain. Utah? Went to the ER for a fever of 105 and was left in a room for over an hour and a half before someone checked in on me and asked if I needed anything. I asked her for some Tylenol and water...never saw her again. Three hours I was discharged. This is when the ER was almost empty, I can't imagine how awful it would be if they were busy. I only recommend going her if your life depends on it, even then you'll probably end up dying while waiting for a nurse.

Just horrible. I've had a scratchy throat causing me to cough constantly which keeps me up at night, so basically haven't slept through the night since it started March 18 2020. The women's clinic at the Salt Lake VA has been trying to diagnose me via telephone and prescribing meds. I begged for a cough medicine with codeine so it wouldn't keep me up at night, and the doc refused. I finally got so disgusted that I went to the Salt Lake Regional ED and they did blood work, which was fine, then did a cat scan on my throat and found a cyst on my left sinus, which was causing the scratchiness in my throat.
