I wish I had taken a before and after picture of my two Shih Tzu's to add a visual to this review. After 2 missed grooming appointments and my frustration of waiting on the list to get into my normal groomer with 2 dogs desperately needing grooming, I found this place. My dogs are 11 and 12 and one doesn't have any eyes, which makes them more tricky than other dogs. After a brief description of what I wanted, Elina took them into the shop to work her magic...and it was MAGIC when I arrived to retrieve them. Liberty Bark has been a fantastic boarding and daycare solution for our tricky dogs! The first difference I noticed was in reading their daily report cards. Previous daycares/boarding facilities seemed to issue pretty superficial report cards, but the feedback from Liberty Bark about each of my dogs plainly showed the staff working with them has a solid understanding of dog behavior, and was well balanced between successes and areas that need some support. What an amazing place with amazing staff! We were having trouble finding a place to board our boxers for vacation (our sweet girl is not always so sociable with other dogs) and they graciously took them with no fuss. We got regular updates on their progress, and prompt communication about even the most minor issues that came up. We could tell when we picked them up that they were not starved for love or attention! We will definitely be taking them back for training and socialization!
