Having grown up taking classes from Bobby Lawrence Karate, I was very eager to put my daughter in when the time came. It’s been a year and we have absolutely loved it. It has taught her discipline, respect and self control. She has participated in the in-studio tournaments and it has helped her confidence grow. She is motivated to work hard to earn her black belt. We adore each and every instructor for what they bring to the table, and we will always value the time we have spent here. I would absolutely recommend putting your little ones in if you are looking for something fun and an opportunity to help them grow.
BLK has given my son a platform to gain confidence while learning to protect and defend himself. We’ve seen a big positive difference in our son’s character and attitude. The instructors are amazing and always make him feel welcome while helping him grow in his knowledge of karate. Our son struggled with being in public settings because he’s shy, but the community here is very inviting and he looks forward to coming every week! My daughter and I absolutely love training at BLK! The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and create such a positive, family-friendly environment. Everyone is welcoming and fun to train with, which keeps us both excited to come back. They do a great job accommodating busy adult schedules, so I never feel behind even if I miss a class.
It’s been incredible watching my daughter grow in confidence, discipline, and skill while we share this experience together. I’ve also seen huge improvements in my own fitness and abilities since joining. Highly recommend BLK Karate to anyone looking for a great place for themselves or their kids!
