Their focus is for your kids to really learn martial arts. Master Will is SOOO good at what he does. Most importantly, he cares about his students.
And the staffs are having the same mindset. Super caring and helpful.
Here they dont hold back when it comes to teaching the techniques. I am surprised and impressed of how these kids can learn/remember those moves. Kudo to them for believing in Kids capabilities.
I took my son to other places before and they are all about business and money. Here they are flexible with make-ups and kids going on a break and things in that nature.
Also, they always try hard to minimize student:instructor ratio as much as they can. It is not uncommon here at all to see almost every pairs of kids has an instructor with them. It is a little harder with the labor shortage after covid but this school has been doing as best as they can.
Lastly, my son has learned so much and has earned so much confidence and awareness when it comes to self-defense.

I have been so impressed with and grateful for Bernales. Will, Carla, and all the teachers seen so very concerned with the kids, paying attention to the kids and their mental state, trying to help with any issues that impact their ability to learn, giving appropriate attention to individual kids during class time, and being very encouraging. Our kids are learning quickly, as are we. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
BIMA is an excellent place to learn multiple arts. Whether it be Kali, Silat, JKD, Muay Thai, BJJ, and more! Kru Will is a great instructor with many years of knowledge. The attention to detail when he goes over drills and techniques is above and beyond. I definitely recommend to come to study under him. Being a student of 11 years, it's been a great and continuing journey!
