Ik ben met weinig verwachtingen en doelen naar Provo gekomen. Ik hoopte op erkenning en bevestiging van mijn cognitieve problemen en strubbelingen, zodat ik kon accepteren dat ik deze heb. Door jullie geweldige, lieve en geduldige opvang en hulp, heb ik meer dán ik verwacht had bereikt. Mijn geheugen, woordenschat, reflectie en balans zijn de afgelopen twee weken enorm vooruit gegaan. Ik kan nu bijvoorbeeld weer hardlopen op de loopband!! Heb ik na het ongeval de afgelopen drie jaar niet gekund of gedurfd. Ik kan weer meer woorden en herinneringen onthoud op korte termijn. Ik heb geen hersenmist meer. Het lijkt wel of ik meer ruimte heb in mijn hoofd. Ga zo maar door. Teveel om op te noemen. Ja ik heb HERSENLETSEL.... maar daar werk ik aan en is mee te leven. Dankzij Cognitive FX en met alle respect niet door de medische hulp uit Nederland. Bedankt voor fixing my brain and body!!! I came with less expectation and goals to Provo. I hoped for recognition and confirmation of my cognitive problems and all the struggles I went through the last 3 years. I would like to accept it and some help to go through this. Cause of your fantastic, sweet and patience help, I got so many more than I expected. My memories, vocabulary, reflection and balance are so beter now!! I can run on the treadmill!! I couldn't do that since my car accident. I remember more words an things and I can give so much more examples from the things I can do beter now. I'm very gratefull for that.
