“Randy did prep work on our floor (grinding high spots in the concrete, skim-coating depressions) and installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP). He was professional (on time, friendly, communicative, organized, and clean) and reasonably priced. He did what he said he would do and he did it extremely well. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone needing this type of work done. We will definitely be calling him again when we're ready to move on to the other rooms in our basement. “AWS Hardwood Flooring is fantastic. Todd is incredibly knowledgeable with a ton of experience . Try and be present during some of the installation. That way, you can talk a lot with Todd and he will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know and should expect about your hardwood flooring. The things he told me have been priceless and extremely accurate in regards to the hardwood floors he installed for me. He's such a nice guy, that he spent extra time (multiple times) going over these things with me for no charge what-so-ever. His apprentice, Jacob, is really great too. Jacob made some really great cuts that I thought, initially, were Todd's cuts. AWS gave us a gorgeous quater sawn, white oak, wood floor. Todd told us how to care for it, the problems he ran into, and what to expect. For the value, I couldn't ask for anything more! He went above that; however, and told me which stain I should choose. He was absolutely right. Some of these other reviews are clearly people who are totally "hands off" or people who have no idea and expect the impossible. All you need to do is talk with Todd (like human beings do) and he will not steer you wrong. Highest recommendation.“
