“This is a simple barber shop... not a beauty salon, although they do have a nail tech (very nice gal and did a great job on her client) and they are skilled to do haircuts and other services beyond simple cuts. I was able to get in the next day and at times I think they even have walk-in appointments open.I needed a trim is all, and that's exactly what I got! No pressure or upsales, there wasn't any loud obnoxious music for the stylists to have to chatter louder over. It was nice. Yes, some music in the background but it was at a relaxing level.5 stars because for $20 I didn't have to wait 2 weeks to get in, I got what I wanted and needed without all the stuff I didn't want or need. It was clean and easy to find, the people there working were polite and courteous and they exceeded my expectations for a 'barber shop' in their skills and hospitality.Shanna was who trimmed my hair, and she's a very nice, happy, and pleasant person to be around! Thanks, Shanna!(The parking sucks tho. Park on the street if you can! )“

“Our barber today was phenomenal and I regret that I didn't ask her name but I believe it was Kim. Three of us (all with different black hair textures) came in all at once with no appointment and despite the time it took she did a custom cut for everyone of us even apologizing for the wait. I truly appreciated the time she took on our hair. She even shampooed my hair for me and I was extremely grateful. I asked for a Mohawk and she was able to give me exactly what I asked for she paid so much attention to detail even making sure my hair was moisturized as I have not adjusted to the climate here and have been having dryness issues (as I mentioned during my cut) and shaping my hair continuously until it was perfect. If you are looking for an amazing cut I promise you better than great clips, sports clips, etc. Go to Rustic Edge Barbershop you, and your hair, will feel so much better.Services: Custom cut“
