Our Vanagon transmission got as close to exploding as possible. We were near Moab when it happened. After getting a transmission rebuilt at German Transaxle in Bend OR, we returned to Moab with a shiny new transmission.
Brian and Jessica with Stotz Moab were the only shop willing to work on an old Vanagon. Brian was incredibly competent and very understanding that we had a lot of money into our van. He completed the job in 4 hrs. The van is running perfectly (at least the parts he worked on) and we are headed home. Huge thanks to Brian and Jessica.
