As a 2024 update, Alan isn't there anymore, but the ladies who are in charge of the place are excellent.

Ive been a customer here for about 35 years. Outstanding service. This is where you go when no one else can fit your contact lenses and make them comfortable. Its far easier to go here, first, rather than waste time and money at other places. This is that secret place you tell your best friend about.

My eyes are a mess. I've had three detached retina operations and both cataract surgeries. As a Trombone player, I have to see my music about 2 1/2 feet to the lower right of my visual plane. No other store has ever gotten it right....not even close, but Alan spent a lot of time giving me extended lens prescription options, which not only vastly improved my general vision, and also created a set of special music glasses that are PERFECT! I see my music now better than ever. The entire staff are very kind, pleasant, and professional. I could not be more pleased. I am now a lifetime customer of Clair Optical!

This place has been an eye heaven on earth! Alan always takes very good care of my brother and myself. He actually cares about his patients nd his staff is always friendly and accomodating. Its such a shame I live far away from here otherwise I'd be there more often! Great place to get your contacts and glasses :)
