I received a coupon for this studio and thought I'd give it a shot as I was in need of a new headshot for my business cards. Boy was that a mistake! I arrived a couple minutes before my scheduled appointment. A good 10 minutes went by before I was acknowledged by an employee with a mouthful of candy. Immediately it was quite aware that the two employees were not quite fond of each other. Bad mouthing right off the bat. I was taken back into one of the photo rooms and began to discuss what I was looking for. I brought a couple of examples as I did not want an ordinary head shot. Before coming to my appointment I had picked out the backdrop I wanted. I explained this to the photographer (if you could even say that) and was told that it would not match with my outfit. She suggested a black backdrop, which I was willing to give a shot to have different options. This girl had no idea what she was doing, she was posing me like a 12 year old on Easter. Halfway laying on the ground?!? Who in the hell would advertise that at work unless you're looking to get some dollar bills in your g-string, good grief! Already feeling quite uncomfortable it did not help that the studio door was left wide open for the entire shoot. A week before Christmas, I'm sure everyone that lives in the Layton area had a good look at me posing like a complete fool. Needless to say I got nothing like the strong, professional stance I was going for. After the shoot the gal and I were going through the photos on the computer. She firmly said "sit down will ya, you're making me feel wired." Excuse me I prefer to stand and don't need you to make any comments on it making me feel even more uncomfortable than I already do. This place is a joke and staff has minimal if any training in photography. Go see a professional for your photo needs and stay as far away from this place as possible.
