I HIGHLY RECOMMEND physical therapy and sports medicine! 4 months ago I had my rotator cuff and bicep reattached. I started at a different PT clinic that wasn’t cutting it. Was referred to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine about 6 weeks post op. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have almost full use of my shoulder and no pain. Ryan, Courtney, and Alan have been amazing! Most of the time I have Ryan and Courtney. Both of them are very knowledgeable and have great attitudes. They have worked diligently to get my shoulder working again. Unfortunately for me before I started PT here scar tissue formed very quickly creating frozen shoulder. So it’s been quite challenging. All the staff has been supportive, welcoming, professional, and encouraging. I have been grateful for the straightforward approach on where I am at versus where I need to be. Having a medical professional be honest because they genuinely care about your recovery/quality of life is refreshing. I believe everyone here wants the best for each patient. From the therapists themselves to the front desk staff; everyone has been fantastic! While my recovery is not over I have complete faith in this team to get my shoulder back to 100%. On a different note I highly recommend dry needling. It helps out so much! They also have brought in some new tech called stemwave. I appreciate their efforts to bring the best options to help their patients through PT.
I’ve been going to the Layton center for about 9 months and I feel SO much better. It probably would not have taken so long if I’d done 2x per week like they recommended but I was able to fit PT into my schedule when it worked for me so I’m grateful for the progress that I’ve made and I know they can help me in the future if I need them. Brad is really great about answering questions so that you can better understand what’s going on with your body, and if you’re going for a massage, Carla is INCREDIBLE. She is super knowledgeable and is able to listen to your body to help you in the best possible way. Everyone who works at the center is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you all! 10/10 recommend!
A pleasant surprise! Didn’t realize how much the dry needles would help my progress. And having a comfortable atmosphere that doesn’t feel like a cold overly sterilized hospital right in my own back yard makes it easy to spend 3 days a week there. Plus lot of cute smiling faces =}
