My son has the biggest smile on his face when I pick him up! He does the little ninjas program and the instructors do an amazing job! He's learned so much already. They're so encouraging while making it really fun.

We love Kona Karate in Kaysville, Kalo has been able to move from white belt to yellow belt. My son was so proud of his achievement and cried during his belt ceremony. He has surprised himself every time he comes to class, I have seen him push himself more and more each week. We joined Kona to get more physical activity during the week since my son is more of a gamer and not into many sports, Karate was 1 of very few exceptions for my child. We love Kona Karate and can't wait to our child grow and build his skills in the future.

My child (under 8) has been going here for a few months now. Sensei's Kade and Ava are fantastic with the kids, keeping the classes fun but also reminding them to pay attention when they need to.

We have loved our time at Kona Karate. They make it fun for the kids while still teaching the basics of self-defense. I love that they realize the little ninjas need games, obstacles courses and other types of movement activities to strengthen their bodies and their brains. The teachers are absolutely amazing and have great methods of engaging the kids, bringing back their focus/attention and teaching them how to defend themselves if needed. My daughter feels very confident and loves going. She can't wait to get her orange belt!

My son has been taking Karate at Kona for 4 years now, and I couldn't be more amazed at the difference it has made in him. At Kona they don't just teach you how to defend yourself, but how to be a good person. The instructors are so patient, and are such a good influence on the kids. I could not recommend Kona enough.

We recently got our son into this as a trial period. I was shocked after only 3 weeks. My son communicates verbally way better than he did. He used to have a studder because he couldn't get out what he was thinking because of pressure he was under to communicate. He no longer has a studder and he talks like crazy now. His confidence level is innocent with no fear when he is communicating with people and even people he hardly sees. My son is 4 turning 5 soon. The positive news of these employees made my wife cry for my son to be engaged in such a positive environment because she sits there and watches the interactions. We are going to be forever associated with this studio until it's no longer around. And my son if he chooses will achieve hopefully the highest level of karate that you can. My son loves it.
