In short, Gary from Access Security Locksmith (dba "Bob's Lock, Safe and Key") was AWESOME! Gary showed up promptly, after my panicked call on the morning after Christmas, to help me get into my new-to-me truck after its battery had been completely drained (my fault) and my sole key wouldn't turn the driver's door manual lock, so I couldn't open my hood to jumpstart or charge the battery. Gary quickly diagnosed the problem, then he cut a sturdy new metal key and with some targeted lubrication, forced the lock open as a temporary workaround, thereby protecting my only key from potential damage. Then he coordinated with their shop to order a replacement lock mechanism, which is the permanent fix for a known issue with my make & model year, and which I can have installed at their WVC shop in just a few days. Gary also jumped/charged my vehicle's battery for 10 minutes until it had enough power for him to program two new fob keys, at a very reasonable price. He also counseled me regarding how long it would take to 50%, and fully, charge my battery, both via highway driving and by A/C charger. Gary was courteous and professional throughout the entire process, and he answered all my questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, with bonus techno background music playing from his van throughout. Gary transformed a bad morning into (a) a temporary fix and a crisis averted, PLUS (b) positive steps toward a permanent solution which should protect me from any future total lockouts. Therefore, I highly recommend Gary from Access Security Locksmith, aka "Bob's Lock, Safe, and Key"!
