We are fortunate to have such a distinguished group of veterinary specialists, VetMed Consultants, in Utah. Their advanced diagnostic tools are able to diagnose and then appropriately treat diseases. Our cat, Chester, was only 1 year old. He was very healthy but frequently sneezed large gooey boogers. Different treatments were tried for his suspected herpes outbreaks. When those didn’t work, our veterinarian recommended VetMed Consultants. We drive 4 hours to see Dr. Watkins. Chester had a cat scan and rhinoscopy. There are not enough words to express what Dr. Melissa Tucker and her team have meant to me and to my dog, Pancake. Dr. Tucker is a highly specialized surgeon, yet she made an exception for us and continued to oversee Pancake’s care far beyond what is typical for her role. She guided us through every chapter of his liver disease along with every other unexpected health challenge that came our way.
