On Nov. 8, 2021 I fell down 3 stairs & broke my left head of humerus (my left shoulder) & shattered my left femur above my knee. Since My shoulder fracture was not separated, I needed no surgery, but my left arm was in a sling with zero weight bearing until mid January. I did undergo surgery on my left femur. This resulted in 44 staples & the permanent addition of a steel rod nearly the length of the bone. My therapy was simply how to transfer from bed to wheelchair & back again.In January 2022 my orthopedist took away the weight restriction on my left arm & allowed me to try to put 25% of my body weight through my leg & work to get full range of motion & strength in...read full review
