My mom was virtually on her death bed 30 days ago. With a kidney function of 2 (keep in mind, anything less than 20 usually means dialysis). She couldn’t stand, walk, use the bathroom, or even lift her arms. 30 days later her kidney function is 28, she’s enjoying life again, standing and walking with assistance, and using her arms. The staff at Thatcher Brook are angels. They treat my mom with so much patience, respect and love, it’s not like anything we’ve ever seen before. Robert Fraser was here in this facility for over two months. The care he received was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so very helpful to him. Would certainly recommend this facility to anyone that needs it.
Number one: it doesn't smell bad! Number two: some of the kindest people work here. I have been impressed with the scope of knowledge of staff, particularly the director of nursing.
Number three: the food looks delicious most of the time.
