“Let's start by saying 5-STAR SERVICE. Here is my experience.....<br><br>Over the last few weeks my grass has been looking terrible. I needed help but didn't know where to start. Last Friday morning I saw a Millburn Lawn & Landscape truck drive by my house. I flagged them down and asked them to look at my dying lawn. They were very nice, super professional and well educated on lawn treatment. After a little digging around, pulling dead grass, and digging up patches they found grubs! They came later that day, I mean later that day, not a week later not 2 days later, that day, and spread grub killer. My lawn issue was seriously and they treated it that way.<br><br>While they were at my house they also sprayed my house foundation for spiders and bugs to help me prep for the fall season. The next morning was a flurry of dead and dying bugs, we found 8 black widow spiders that would have gotten into my house. Thank you Millburn for the fast, friendly and experienced service. I'll be a life long customer!”

“We were looking to remodel our backyard and had already paid another company for a design, but unfortunately the plan we received was disappointing. It didn’t consider our budget, the plants and trees weren’t appropriate for Utah’s secondary water or alkaline soil, and the design didn’t include any dimensions. We didn’t realize how unusable it was until we started talking to contractors.<br>That’s when we met Joseph, and the difference was night and day.<br>He came out, took full measurements, and created a proper plan from scratch. He immediately understood that we were on secondary water and proactively suggested plant replacements that would actually survive in our conditions. He also brought creative, thoughtful ideas to help us reduce cost without sacrificing function or aesthetics. For example, instead of building a floating bench attached to the retaining wall, he suggested making the wall a sittable height so the entire length becomes usable seating. He also recommended replacing part of the retaining wall with a sloped walk‑in garden to save money while improving the layout.<br>On top of the quality and expertise, his pricing was the most competitive out of the six landscaping companies we spoke with — and not by a small margin. For items outside his scope, he was even willing to subcontract and still offer a great price.<br>The only reason we didn’t end up working with him was timing. Another project got ahead of ours, which would have pushed our start date back by a month, and unfortunately we couldn’t wait. But if timing had worked out, we would have chosen him without hesitation.<br>We will absolutely consider Joseph for our next project. His professionalism, honesty, and creativity truly stood out.”

Jacob and his team were up front with price and time needed for the job! They removed the trees, cleaned up and disposed of it all! They were so quick and efficient! I was truly beyond impressed! Like any big project, there were some unforeseen issues that affected both sides, but they show up, address issues, and manage subcontractors so that you end up with a great end product. “We just finished working with Darren and Alder Landscaping. After our first meeting, Darren came up with an initial plan. He listened to our ideas, answered questions, and was happy to accept our suggestions. His landscape plan was creative and beautiful. He communicated his availability, as well as the starting time for the work crew. His employees showed up as promised, explained what they would be doing (phases), and worked hard each day. The stone patio they installed looks amazing. The sprinkler system is top of the line. The work crew cleaned up each night, were easy to work with, and took the time to answer all of our questions. We are so impressed with his employees. Throughout the process, Darren was available for phone conversations and made jobsite visits. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and a good person.<br><br>We called about an issue with water drainage and Darren told us how to address the issue. He said he would come visit, but the directions he provided addressed our concern. Darren has sent texts to see how our yard looks. He will also come again in the fall, check on everything, and show us how to make the seasonal change to the sprinkler system.<br><br>Alder Landscaping warrants their work for one-year, and this is very reassuring. Overall, we could not be happier with the project and results! Several of our neighbors have complimented the work and some have asked for Alder's contact information. We would use them again without hesitation. We highly recommend them to you.”
