“I’ve been bringing my animals here for years and have always had a great experience. About a month ago, I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put my dog down, and Dr. Chamberlain and Kaedynn were both so kind, compassionate, and professional throughout the entire process.
I opted for communal cremation and paid around $350, but at the time I wasn’t aware that communal cremation meant I wouldn’t receive her ashes back. I do wish that had been clearly explained while I was choosing the cremation option, especially during such an emotional moment.
I called the hospital today about it, and although I don’t remember the name of the woman I spoke with, she handled the situation wonderfully. She genuinely apologized, explained the difference between communal and private cremation, and told me she would pass my feedback along to the lead technician so it could hopefully be clarified better for families going forward.
Obviously nothing could change the situation, and I wasn’t looking for a refund or expecting them to fix something that couldn’t be fixed. I just wanted them to understand why that clarification matters, and I really appreciated how seriously and kindly she took my concern.
Despite that miscommunication, I’m still happy to give them five stars. I’ve trusted them with my animals for years, and the compassion they showed during such a difficult experience, as well as how they handled my concern afterward, meant a lot to me.”
