“Sandy, the owner is best in the business. She does coloring and cutting (but consult about cutting prior to the job). Her building is in the small quaint atmosphere, that anyone couldn't help but feel cheery, talkative, and in good hands. After all, she frames her family photos around, so she must think of us as family! Sandy has a decade plus of experience in the beauty industry and ownership experience. She talked to me about my vision for my hair, both color and cut at first, and at different intervals asked my opinion on her work. Also talked me through while bleaching toning and any past history with reactions, burns, and my preferences. That's keen to caring and maintaining a business. For COVID. Social distancing and facial covering is practiced. It's by appointments only and there is parking. She wears gloves and cleanses the towels, chairs, and equipment. I don't think this is a great review on expressing how wonderful she is. But hopefully you can picture her worth ethic and attempts for safety at a very high standard!“

“ASAM braid shop is honestly one of the best-kept secrets when it comes to hair care and professionalism. First off, the salon is always clean, organized, and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their environment and their clients’ experience.
This is my second time coming in, and both times have been amazing. I came in by appointment, and my braider are there and already prepared and ready to go. They started on my hair immediately no long wait times. Everything was smooth and professional from start to finish.
One thing I really appreciate about ASAM is her honesty. If you come in with a hairstyle idea, she will genuinely let you know whether it works well with your hair texture and what would look best for you. That level of honesty and care is hard to find. While her braiders are working, she also checks on your hair throughout the process and even lets you look at it before the style is finished to make sure you’re happy with everything.
I also love how attentive they are with color matching. Since I have blonde dyed into my hair, they actually took the time to custom blend the braiding hair colors for me so everything matched naturally. A lot of salons don’t put that kind of effort into details anymore, and I truly appreciated it.
Most importantly, ASAM is a woman of integrity. During my last visit, there was a small misunderstanding about pricing, and honestly, it was more on my part than hers. However, she still honored the original price we discussed. I’ve been to salons before where I felt pressured or boxed into paying more, but she was not like that at all. She handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and understanding.
I truly appreciate her and her team. This is definitely my go-to spot from now on.“

I have really thick and frizzy hair, so I was nervous my hair would be a lot to handle, but I did a hair and makeup trial for my bridals, and Sarah Jane and Madison were the sweetest. They took a photo of what I was thinking and exceeded my expectations. The communication with Tina was amazing and I loved how they sent me a detailed timeline. On our wedding day, they did a phenomenal job with my 6 bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and officiant. My group had a lot of diversity with many ethnicities and they did a great job of making everyone beautiful.
