Winnsboro Veterinary Medical Center is a great place for animal care. They have the equipment to scope horses and a vet with over 40 years of experience. The staff is wonderful and treats animals and owners well. They can help with a variety of animal issues, from digestive problems to illnesses and aging conditions. The vet provides treatment, advice on feed, and future plan recommendations.
Very compassionate staff. I brought them my horse in an impossible situation where he had his intestines coming out of him due to another vet severely neglecting and mal practicing a simple gelding procedure. By the time I got my horse to Winsboro my horse was in an impossible to help situation and had to be euthanized. The level of compassion they had was very comforting after such a traumatic day and they acted immediately to take our horses pain away. While I wish the whole day could’ve been different, I was very grateful for the level of professionalism and kindness that came from this clinic.

This vet is phenomenal. He caught my dog’s hip issue on the X-Rays when my prior vet completely missed it and misdiagnosed him with a torn ACL. Very knowledgeable and saved our dog from a bad surgery that wouldn’t have been needed.

I take my furbabies here to get nail trims. A few times for other things and only 1 time I was very unhappy with the service I got and the outcome that came about due to it. My dog Tiny was pregnant with a litter. It was on a weekend and i didnt have my chkbook with me. They turned me away when she needed to have them delivered. They ultimately killed her and the litter. Dont take your furbabies here unless its for nail trim only.
