John came out the same day, with a courtesy call prior to his arrival. He assessed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He said 'Merry Christmas' in lieu of accepting payment. On a Saturday when every other local plumber had recording devices answering their phone, John Foster of Kind Plumbing took my call. I had broken through a water line from my well with a shovel right next to our concrete driveway. I knew we were in trouble. John asked me to text him a photo of the damaged pipe with my location. He arrived within an hour, gave me a reasonable bid (far less than I expected on a Saturday), and then proceeded to complete a complicated repair. His expertise, efficiency and reasonableness was a God-send.
