I have mixed emotions about the service of this YMCA. Overall it’s good!On one hand, most of the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Twice, staff members have stopped what they were doing to give me a tour of the facility/show me something and most of them greet you warmly!But on the other hand, I’ve had some pretty negative interactions with other staff members. For instance, within my first month of joining, I was told I cannot breastfeed in the childcare area or locker room and would have to go to the family bathroom. Love being members here at the YMCA - when it comes to working out at the gym and swimming regularly! Only reason I did 4 stars was because the sauna/steam rooms along with hot tub often have maintenance issues. But beyond that have enjoyed the group classes like cycling and yoga from time to time.

Nice gym. Plenty of machines plus good assortment of free weights. Large cardio area. Pool, spa, steam room and sauna. Never crowded. No blasting rap music like other gyms in Waco. Enjoy my workouts here.
