The Greater Waco YMCA offers a variety of amenities including a gym, pools, spa, steam room, and sauna. The gym features plenty of machines, free weights, and a large cardio area, with well maintained machines. Members appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who often greet them warmly, and the staff is very kind and friendly. The YMCA also offers group classes such as cycling and yoga, and the classes are great. The facility is generally not crowded and the music volume is kept at a comfortable level. Some members have reported maintenance issues with the sauna, steam room, and hot tub. The YMCA also has an indoor therapy pool and a lap pool, and the outdoor pool is open during summer. It is welcoming and clean and family friendly, a great family place complete with childcare on site, and a good value for the whole family.
