About Virtual Care in Waco by Baylor Scott & White Health
Virtual Care in Waco, operated by Baylor Scott & White Health, offers healthcare services with a focus on patient communication and quality care. Patients appreciate the knowledgeable staff, especially Nurse Practitioner Hollan Humble, who is highly rated for her expertise and interaction with patients. The facility's team is described as great and communicative, making patients feel well cared for. However, some concerns have been raised about the environment, such as the waiting rooms being uncomfortably cold, which affects patient comfort. While the clinic generally provides good service, there have been issues with lab requisitions and missing results, leading some patients to switch providers to other facilities like AdventHealth. Despite these technical challenges, the overall experience with the staff remains positive for many. Patients also highlight the efficient and respectful care received during hospital visits at Hillcrest, where they recently delivered a baby. The staff was described as competent, confident, and friendly, with excellent communication and attention to patient needs. The facility was clean, and the billing process transparent, which helped reduce stress during a significant life event. Personal interactions with staff like Dawn, Jamie, Katie, Candice, and Debra left a lasting positive impression. Overall, Virtual Care is seen as a caring and professional healthcare provider, though some areas like environment and administrative processes could benefit from improvements.
I quit using baylorscott and white Bellmead clinic because they didn't know how do lab requisition for labcrop I have been valued patient with baylorscott and white ( Healthtexas Provider Network)... until they fix those issues with choosing who the resulting lab is. I went back and seeing AdventHealth like I said before Healthtexas Provider Network I no problem putting my lab requisition in to labcrop though Epic. and half of results are missing from my chart
The people here are great. They communicate very well. My 96 year old mom is their patient. However, it’s freezing in the little waiting rooms…the lobby isn’t as cold but I can’t see why it has to be so cold in the room with the doctors & assistants.
