I looked out last monday morning and saw my garbage can full and sitting on the curb like that of my neighbors. A few minutes later, I went to return the empty can to the back yard. IT WAS GONE. I have atte UPDATE: A few hour before the Monday Trash run a new receptical showed up at my curb. I then returned the can I had goniffed from a vacant house down the street. Thank You For The Loan.

Today, Waco Solid Waste called about an extra trash can at my address that I wasn't paying for. I was feeling frustrated because I was trying to explain that our guest house in the back has a SECOND address, and I was for sure paying for 2 based on this. The customer service rep (Maria) who called was not understanding, and I did ask to speak with someone above her to explain. Once her colleague/supervisor came on, we actually discovered I was paying for a third grey bin that we don't even have, and they are now going to work to remove this.Other than the beginning frustrations, they ended up handling it well. We contacted Solid Waste on Wednesday before Thanksgiving about an old chair someone discarded in our alley. We put it in front of our house and 2 days later truck 171 came early in the morning, picked it up and gave us a friendly wave! Thank you!
