I'm not too impressed with the location on Troup Hwy. I went there recently to get a spray tan. I paid and was told what bed to go to. I told the girl at the register I've never had a spray tan before, and asked if she could show me how to operate it. She never moved from the seat she sat on. She said the directions were posted in the room. I was literally in there for about 10- 15 min just trying to understand the directions. As I left, she didn't bother saying bye, have a good day or anything. She was still sitting in the same spot, btw. On a brighter note, I would like to say I was pleased with the results.

It had been a while since I had been in TruTans (or any tanning salon) so going in (as an almost 40yr old) I was nervous about the staff and their knowledge of the beds, lotions, and process of tanning (I used to work a tanning salon so I tend to look for the proper way to do things). I was pleasantly surprised that the young lady there was on top of it! I asked questions, got my answers (some I already knew, some I didn't) and we chatted for a second while getting my products and bed ready. The bed and room (as well as the restroom) were clean and welcoming! I love tanning but it sure does help to go to a place where the staff is cheerful, caring, and knowledgeable... read full review
