I came from a boutique gym to Crunch in Tyler. The atmosphere is mature, with none of the childish high-school hierarchy vibes. People are there to work out and mind their business.

It has a great equipment and space, but it's really distracting to workout there.
The noise is awful - the music is way too loud, especially when some trainer is blasting a class soundtrack at 1000% volume that everyone else has to hear. The music playlist is also bubblegum pop music meant for teenage girls. No East Texas man wants to listen to that crap when he's working out. Play some classic rock or metal sometimes.
The cleaning staff goes around when it's busy spraying toxic cleaning agents into the air right next to people working out.
The sauna is unsupervised. People wear their dirty shoes and socks right after training.
