Great hygienists and dentist. Very gentle with kids, and parents. Totally open to going with what the kid (and parent feel comfortable with) and also supportive and helpful in getting a defiant toddler to comply against their wishes when it's in their best interest. Not very many places where I can walk away after my toddler threw a fit and fought against the entire process, and yet we both still had an overall positive and happy experience. Have been bringing my daughter here since she was 18 months; she's 3½ now. Highly recommend.

Both of my daughters are on the spectrum and the staff here is so patient when working with them and working through their fears with towards dental work. My girls definitely don’t look forward to the dentist, but they do look forward to the trip to the toy box when the service is completed and all is better again. Dr. McCandless’ office came highly recommended on Facebook and I can 100% see why. They are a truly incredible staff. My only “con” would be to make sure that the staff has your insurance information. I put our insurance information in when filling out the paperwork that is sent electronically before the appointment, but it didn’t pull to their system.... read full review

I would give Dr. McCandless & Her staff more stars if I could . We were referred to them for a second opinion after receiving horrible customer service from my daughters previous Dentist and I’m so glad that we gave them a chance . Everyone is super sweet , welcoming , understanding , professional , very knowledgeable, honest , caring and thoughtful. They always make us feel comfortable and take the time to return my phone calls & take the time to explain things to me . I truly appreciate everyone! Thank you !
