My family has been going to these doctors since 1987. The best care has been given us all the doctors!

I usually only leave 5 stars reviews, but we’ve had nothing but negative experiences at Woodlands Family Practice, mostly with reception/front desk, and being billed incorrectly repeatedly. Please, look elsewhere for medical care.

My wife and I have been patients at Woodlands Family Practice since 2009, under the care of Dr Philbert Yau. Dr Yau has always treated us with respect, patience and kindness, and been ready to share his considerable medical knowledge with us. He has provided sound medical advice and guidance over the years, that have contributed to our enjoying an active and healthy lifestyle in our senior years.
The nurses and administrative staff are always friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and very helpful in getting us appointments even when schedules are tight. Overall, it is very comforting to have Woodlands Family Practice as our primary caregiver.

This is my first review of any profession outside of my consumer purchases. Dr Yao and his staff are nothing short of amazing. I would recommend this office for anything regarding your medical needs. Their honesty and integrity are second to none.

Posting for Vickie Martin- I have been with WFP for over 10 years and Dr. Yau has been my Family Practitioner. He and his staff have provided me with terrific health care. This clinic is by far the best Health Care facility I have dealt with.

I’ve been a patient with Woodlands Family Practice for almost 30 years. Dr. Yau has been my primary care physician for about 20 of those years. I have always received great care from them. I can get in to see the Dr. on short notice and that is worth a lot!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Yau and this practice! After moving here from out of state 3 years ago, we were in search of a new family doctor. A friend recommended Dr Yau, and my family and I have been patients ever since! He is very thorough, never ignores symptoms, and is extremely knowledgeable…as a Dr should be! He and his nurse are so very personable as well…it feels as if we’ve been seeing them for much longer than 3 years! I never feel like I’m in a patient assembly line, I can be seen in a very reasonable time frame, and they actually talk to you and ask questions. My husband and 2 kids also see Dr Yau and everyone is very comfortable here. I’m so grateful I found this practice and I highly recommend it if you are in search of an amazing family doctor! 5 stars!

Dr Yau is the most conscientious, kindest, and wisest doctor our family has ever been to. He takes time for your concerns and patiently explains what we need help understanding. Lots of integrity, which is priceless to find in a family doctor!

I have been going to this practice ever since I moved to the area in 1986! I have been through “my” Dr. retiring, becoming a patient to the “newbie” and now that newbie is the Senior Dr on staff! As my family grew, each became a patient of Dr. Yau’s. I have never had a bad experience in all my years there. Susan is an excellent nurse and never fails to make me feel better when she is talking care of me. I have complete confidence in The Woodlands Family Practice and I would, and do, recommend them to my family and friends.

We Iove Dr. Yau for pediatrics but we miss Dr. Mabry - have moved for our adult services.
