Appointment scheduling was easy, wait time was very short, staff was very friendly, office environment was clean and relaxed. The appointment wasn't rushed, she explained conditions well, I trusted the provider's decisions, she listened & answered questions, and I felt respected!

My experience yesterday was a follow up for a concern. It was obvious the doctor was in a hurry and had not reviewed my chart from my first visit.
Her first question was to look at me and ask me what my triggers are? I had no idea what she was talking about.
She was referring to the fact that the issue I have with one spot of concern “keeps happening”.
I explained it doesn’t “keep happening” it hasn’t gone away with the treatment.
It was very off setting and quite odd. I will follow up with another practice, because I have concerns about skin cancer.
She refused to biopsy as was the original plan she initiated at the original appt. Instead she wants me to treat an additional 30 days.
It very much felt like I was a number not a person with an actual concern. It was disappointing to say the least.

Denise Hixon is the person I see at my appointments. I'm a product of the years before sunscreen. She has helped me with an alternative to an antibiotic which caused stomach issues. I appreciated that she took the time to give me specific directions for taking the prescription. And I like that she is willing to be very direct about my situation.
