After a failed attempt to do my own hair Friday night, I was scrambling to find somewhere to get braids on Saturday. I was skeptical about the walk in braid shops and in my searching I stumbled upon Braids by Candiss. Lo and behold I was blessed with last minute appointment with Keonne. He had a Fulani braid special for $175 hair included. $50 deposit. I booked it expeditiously. When I arrived I was welcomed and the energy of the shop was great. I’m so glad I found Braids By Candiss for my son!!! Candiss is so professional, knowledgeable, gentle on the touch, and all around a beautiful and pleasant soul to be around. My son finally got his starter locs that he been wanting and they look so good!!! Not to mention, she keeps her business nice and clean. The owner is amazing! I literally was about to cut all of my hair off due to knots and tangles all throughout my hair from knotless braids smh Miss Candiss took her time and detangled my hair after hours when she just could of turned me away. I cannot wait to return to get one of her beautiful styles
