100% real deal. Gene is an artist. Best haircut I’ve had in years, and it was only $20! I happened to be in the area for work and Gene let me know they don’t do appointments, but to come on by. Reminded me of when I was lined up with my cousins and we’d all have the family barber give us the ol clipper-cut, but Gene was far more patient and skilled to say the least. Lol. Would absolutely (and already have) recommend for folks looking for the old-school artist/barber.

I have been looking for a barber like the one I left when we moved to Temple. Tanner is the one. A lot younger than my previous barber but he cut my hair the same way that I like it. Wonderful haircut!

No frills just a good cut if your into a conversation he will provide one for you. They always do a great job and are very patient with kids. Its a smaller shop and there usually isn't too bad of a wait. They get thier job done pretty quick. To the other review my guess is he didn't really strike up a conversation. Fair prices and friendly service. I really wish they did full head shaves but they do a good job on my beard.
