He gave me a no haggle, no pressure in person estimate and he and his team were at my house within 2 weeks (could have been sooner but I was traveling) to replace my 25 year old HVAC system. I had to leave for most of the day and had no concerns with leaving them at my house and even closing up when they were finished. “A little backstory… Our inside and outside AC units were both brand new, installed in June 2024 by Air Control out of Emory. During our home inspection in May 2025, a freon leak was discovered, and we were told the inside unit needed to be raised and the stand rebuilt because it was nearly impossible to fit the filter properly. The previous homeowner had Air Control come back out to “fix” the leak and recharge the system.

Just a week after we moved in (June 2025), we noticed water leaking from the AC. We contacted Air Control, and they told us they’d need to check their records and get back to us but we never heard anything further. We ended up resolving the issue ourselves and discovered the leak was coming from the back of the inside unit due to how poorly the stand had been constructed.

Fast forward to last week, our AC started struggling to keep up with the heat. This time we called 3M Refrigeration, and we’re so glad we did. They found multiple leaks in the line, had to recharge the system again, and ended up removing and completely rebuilding the inside unit because the original install had been done so badly, even the heater had been hooked up incorrectly.

All this to say, we are beyond thankful for Nick and Toby from 3M Refrigeration. They did an incredible job getting our system back in shape and running the way it should have from the start!“
